How we meet the need.
The Child’s Voice Project champions child-centered decision-making in complex custody cases by equipping professionals with child-centered strategies and providing child advocate attorneys at no cost to families or courts.
Too often, children are talked about but not talked with. We exist to change that — so the people making life-altering decisions actually hear from the child at the center of them.
A new standard for a child’s voice.
We’re working toward a future where every child’s voice is meaningfully included in the decisions that shape their lives.
Our Goal
Transform perspectives in family court, recognizing children as unique individuals with their own voices, agency, and experiences.
Our Hope
To set a new standard for child agency that stands alongside historic milestones such as child labor regulation, universal public education, and juvenile justice reform. Together, we can mark another defining moment when society recognizes that children deserve protection, respect, and voice.
Our Plan
Change how family courts listen to children — through child-centered legal representation, training for court professionals, evidence of impact, and systemic reform.
