Emily High
Emily High is a librarian and nonprofit leader who serves as Director of Operations at Child’s Voice Project. With nearly twenty years of experience across public libraries, schools, and community-based nonprofits, they bring a people-centered and systems-minded approach to their work. Emily’s career has been guided by a commitment to equity, access, and creating spaces where people of all ages feel supported, respected, and able to participate fully.
Throughout her work, Emily has created accessible, community-focused programs and events designed to meet people where they are. These efforts have included peer support groups, book clubs, history events, and large-scale community celebrations such as a queer prom. A natural jack of all trades, Emily is known for blending creativity with organization, and for building practical systems that allow meaningful programs and relationships to thrive.
At Child’s Voice Project, Emily supports the organization behind the scenes by strengthening operations and communications. They believe that everyone, regardless of age, deserves the opportunity to shape their own lives, and are proud to be part of the brilliant team at Child’s Voice Project.
